My wife and I had a truly enchanting stay at this charming hotel. The location was simply breathtaking and the authentic atmosphere of the Chateau added to the overall experience. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens and taking walks along the waterfront. The staff were always helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The Michelin 1 star restaurant was a culinary delight, with delicious plates that showcased the chef's artistry. And while the breakfast had a few minor disappointments, such as the pre-packaged baked goods and not-so-fresh orange juice, the abundance of offerings and friendly service made up for it. Despite a few small drawbacks, we would definitely return to this magical oasis in southern Brittany. we highly recommend this hotel.

The setting was beautiful - a perfect place to relax. The grounds were extensive making it possible to explore woodland, walk beside the estuary, or simply relax in one of the many areas next to the chateau. The food was superb and the staff very attentive. I really liked the fact the chateau was not commercialised - it was unspoilt and not overcrowded. We were lucky to be upgraded into a superior room so felt very spoilt. We had a memorable stay at Chateau de Locguenole.
The price of an aperitif was steep - 15 euros for a glass of champagne but in such a beautiful setting and with canapes on the side we had to accept we were living the high life and should pay for the privelege.

Before we had even left the UK, we had a phone call from the Hotel asking when did we expected to arrive that day. Arrive – we were still in the UK. We/I had made a terrible mistake and not read the confirmation correctly. The staff transferred our booking to the following (correct) day. Without any fuss and with max efficiency, & NO cost penalty to us. On arrival the Chateaux looked most impressive, and the grounds were immaculately kept. The staff met us and immediately upgraded our superior room to a suite. Most impressive! The food was out of this world, brilliantly prepared & presented, with good wine to complement the meal. Good wi-fi connection. This was without doubt one of the nicest places we have stopped in France.
Breakfast was really over priced for what is was, however, if you book this Chateaux, then it’s not booked for a cheap place to bed down for the night.

The charm of the castle hotel can be felt from the moment you step inside. The old-fashioned atmosphere, with its wood and tapestries, gives it a unique and cozy feel. The cleverly orchestrated decoration adds to the overall ambience, making it truly memorable.

Lovely views of the river and lovely grounds.
The staff (one of them anyway, the rest were nice) was very rude on check-in and the first night. It was clear that we were a nuisance rather than valued guests since we had our 3 year old son with us. When we asked about the dinner it my wife was sneered at and given the code for the door so we could come in after 11 at night as a 3 year old obviously could not be in the dining room. While the castle is nice, the rooms are starting to need renovation, e.g. the modern bath is not so modern anymore and quite run down.

We had an amazing experience at this luxurious hotel! The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views over the water and a magnificent great lawn. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure our every need was taken care of. We were impressed by the range of amenities in our room, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini-bar. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a separate sitting area for relaxation. The complimentary toiletries were a nice touch, and we appreciated the flat-screen TV and comfortable bedding. The hotel also offered excellent dining options, with a restaurant and a bar/lounge area to enjoy a drink or a meal. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. We also made use of the leisure facilities, including the sauna and the outdoor swimming pool, which were perfect for relaxation. The garden area was well-maintained and provided a peaceful retreat. The free Wi-Fi was a handy addition, ensuring we stayed connected during our stay.
This hotel is highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Lovey old chateau in beautiful setting.
Restaurant was very expensive but the taste of the meal did not live up to our expectations. Presentation of the meal was lovely.

Relais & in Kervignac is a beautiful mansion with stunning views and a wonderful location close to Le Bistroy in the Locmalo district of Port Louis. The rooms are lovely - clean, and well maintained. The staff is excellent and genuinely hospitable - offering help with luggage and even providing a bowl of water for my dog at dinner. a great experience with local insights and exceptional service.
Couldn't recommend more.
